The D.E.C. is sponsoring a schooling show series in Delaware. The series is founded on the principle of bringing the local horse community together through safe competition, comradery, and horse/rider development. The horse show divisions are hosted at Apex Stables in Houston, DE.
Pre-entry fees: $12.00 per class or $30.00 a division. One-time post-entry fee of $10.00.
Warm-up. The warm-up fee is $5.00 which must be paid prior to entering the ring. Any rider wishing to re-enter the ring may do so
time permitting
for an additional fee of $5.00.
To be eligible for our awards, riders must compete in at least two of the three shows in the same division. Equitation riders do not have to compete on the same horse.
Trainers and riders are to use discretion when choosing divisions in order to ensure fairness and safety to all participants.

Leadline
Open to riders 8 and under who have not shown in any classes requiring riders to walk, trot, and canter. Riders cannot cross enter into any other division.

Special Beginner

Short Stirrup
Open to riders 12 and under who have not shown over fences 18” in this or any previous (schooling/rated) show season. Riders cannot cross enter into any division at this show except cross rail divisions. Simple changes are allowed.

Child/Adult Equitation
Open to all riders that are not competing at the same show in any class with fences at 3’ or higher. Simple changes allowed.

28. Child/Adult Equitation: Walk/Trot/Canter
29. Child/Adult Equitation: Medal. To be shown over a course of not less than 8 obstacles not exceeding 2’6”. Two changes of direction. Judge can call back to test top 4 riders.
30. Child/Adult Equitation: Maclay. To be shown over a course of not less than 8 obstacles not exceeding 2’6”. Two changes of direction. The flat phase will include a walk, trot, and canter. The under saddle performance shall count 50 percent.
Schooling Jumper
Open to any horse or pony. Fences 2’0”-2’6” with change of direction. If entries warrant, divisions will be split into two levels.

Thoroughbred Hunter
Open to all horses that are eligible to be registered with the U.S. Jockey Club. Trotting is permitted. Fences 2’0”-2’3”.

Judged on suitability, confirmation and will be asked to jog. All breeds are welcome in all classes. Classes will be split by age if entries warrant.

Please fill out one form for each rider. If there is anything else you would like to tell us, please use the box below.
Once you are satisfied with your entries, hit the "Submit" button below. The computer will check your form and make sure we have what we need. If anything is missing, you will be asked to review it again and correct the errors. If everything is OK, you will be asked to agree to our Release of Liability via a virtual signature. Upon submitting that, your entry form, along with the liability release, will be emailed to the organizing committee as well as copied to you.
Your spot will be held for a reasonable time with the expectation of payment of pre-entry fees. Payment can be made by check or credit card (facilitated through PayPal).
