DEC Scholarship Rules

1. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a  Delaware Resident
2. Applicant must be enrolled in a Delaware University agriculture program and in good standing. (Either Delaware State University or the University of Delaware)
3. Applicant must write a 250 word essay  “How I plan to Use This Course of Study to Further the Equine Industry.”
4. Applicant must fill out an application, include documentation regarding academic status, and submit the essay noted in item #3 on a separate sheet of paper.
5. Deadline for applications will be December 31. Selection will be made by committee in February.
6. All awards are given without discrimination as to race, sex, or creed.

Applications must be received prior to December 31st.  Winner(s)  will be notified by February.
